​New England Dance Ensemble

The New England Dance Ensemble was established in 1986 by artistic director Barbara Mullen.  NEDE’s mission is to combine the talents of local pre-professional dancers, with currently performing professionals from National and International Companies.  NEDE is the resident company at Londonderry Dance Academy.  You do not need to be a student at LDA to be a New England Dance Ensemble member.  Membership is open to all performers.  Our  members will have the opportunity to perform traditional classical ballet repertoire and contemporary choreography. They will become knowledgeable of composers,  choreographers, history of dance, costuming and stage make-up. The NEDE Company welcomes dancers who  want to specifically focus on the various aspects of  the performing experience.  NEDE is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.

        Our 2022/2023 season will include four major productions, the holiday classic “The Nutcracker” the award winning “A Child’s View of The Holocaust”  “Story Dance Touring Company” and a surprise feature length ballet.
