Becoming a Member of NEDE Requirements for Membership Auditions will be held on Sunday September 20th, 2009 for the 2009/2010 season. If accepted into the company all contracts must be signed by all NEDE Company members and their parents. This contract explains the commitment and behavior expected for participation in the company. Applicants must meet each of the following requirements to be considered for membership: Be a student already placed in 2 regularly attended ballet classes, junior and senior members, or 1 regularly attended ballet class for pre-junior members. Please note company members do not need to be students at Londonderry Dance Academy Maintain regular class and rehearsal attendances • Adhere to all rules, policies, and procedures of NEDE Be committed to attend all Company rehearsals and meetings from beginning to end Be responsible for knowing all rehearsal and performance schedules Always set a good example to other NEDE members, families, and guests. Pay annual membership fees All Company members must adhere to this criteria in order to retain membership. Failure to maintain one or more of the standards set forth here, will be cause for a variety of sanctions ranging from casting deletions to dismissal from the Company. Dancers will be dismissed following their third unexcused absence. Company Membership If accepted to perform as a member of the NEDE Company, each member is required to pay an annual membership fee. NEDE is a non-profit organization. Membership fee includes: * The rental of all costumes excluding tights and shoes. * All rehearsal costs * Free admission for company members to all NEDE performances and events. A NEDE company t-shirt for the 2009-2010 season. Pre-Junior Member - (ages 8 and under) - $85.00 Junior Member - (ages 9-13) - $125.00 Senior Member - (ages 14 +)
